Shoulder Pain

Injuries are common in all kinds of sporting activities. The goal of the physical therapist is to design preventive measures by following athletes on a case by case basis, studying their weaknesses and giving them exercises and routines that they can follow in order to make areas that are weak and at risk stronger so as to reduce the dangers of having an injury.

Many people have wrong postures in standing, walking, running and jumping. This is also common among sportsmen and may present a problem in the future if not corrected because wrong postures may be placing stresses on parts of the body that it should not. Sports therapists are able to follow each athlete and prescribe corrective exercises to these situations.
